Attending an Interview - Questions.

by .

Coping with questions can be the most daunting part of the interview, but just remember that the interviewer is asking just THREE questions:

1. Can they do the job?
2. Will they do the job?
3. Will they fit in?

Your answers should be tailored to these three questions, no matter what has been asked.

When answering questions of type 1 (e.g. "What was your daily role?") tell them about the experience you have previously had and the training you were given.

Questions of type 2 are best answered by telling "true life stories". Show by example that you will do the job. As an example tell the employer about that time a big order had to go out, and you and two others stayed until midnight to help get it shipped out, and afterwards you were so pleased to get the job done that you went clubbing with the boss! They may not remember your name, but they will remember the story.

The will they "fit in" question can`t be dealt with. Simply be yourself, don`t argue, and smile at the interviewers jokes.
